Oklahoma
While having similar regulations for the licensing and inspection of tattoo artists, Oklahoma is following the trend of other states regarding tattoos for minors. The Oklahoma statute simply states, “It shall be unlawful for any person to perform or offer to perform tattooing on a child under eighteen (18) years of age.” Therefore, even with parental consent, a person must wait until his 18th birthday before getting a tattoo.
